Internal Family Systems (IFS) comes from the belief that we are all made up of a multitude of parts, which is why at times we can be very disciplined, and other times we eat a whole package of Oreos. IFS work identifies these parts within us and the roles they play to help us through life. IFS allows clients to gain a better understanding of themselves, enabling them to experience greater internal harmony and well-being. The Gottman Method is one of the most well-documented forms of couples therapy, created over 40 years ago by John and Julie Gottman.
