LPC Supervision for
Texas-based Associates
You’ve completed graduate school. Now the real fun begins!
If you are ready to start the licensure process, i can help.
I have been an approved LPC supervisor since 2009, guiding over two dozen associates through the process from recent graduate to competent counselor. I view it as a privilege to train the next generation in the field, and I work hard to help you become the clinician you are meant to be. We all have unique strengths and personalities that we bring to the profession, and I strive to help you identify these and use them to best serve your clients.
With nearly two decades of supervising in a variety of settings, including community mental health, private practice, hospital & PHP/IOP, substance abuse treatment, and school settings, I am competent in providing oversight for a range of sites. I make myself available outside of scheduled supervision time to address any emergency concerns, and I work to provide you with training that is grounded in ethical practices, solid counseling skills, and instilling the competence and confidence you need to positively impact your clients’ lives.
I truly believe being a counselor is the best job there is -watching the growth that is possible in people, being granted the honor of bearing witness to their pain, and being a part of a person’s healing journey is truly a gift. I am extremely passionate about this field, and I am excited that you are wanting to join us in this important work!
Per the Behavioral Health Executive Council, Texas LPC Supervision requires a minimum of 4 hours of supervision per month for a minimum of 18 months while an associate completes a total of 3,000 clinical hours (1,500 direct / 1,500 indirect).
My supervision rates are:
$80 / hour for individual supervision
$60 / hour for group supervision (2 or more associates)
Supervision can be conducted virtually or in-person, or be a combination of the two.
